Thats the way they all come, as an assembly. Check with Napa and other parts stores, but make sure you get a Timken brand bearing. There are a few cheap knock-offs of much lower quality available.

Hub assy will run you ~$300. Dealer only. Comes with ABS sensor, studs installed, and axle nut.
At least here, if you're military, you'll get a 20% discount.

With all the work involved it's not worth the trouble using scrap yard parts on this fix.

the 95 would not do you a whole bunch of good, as it did not have front ABS. this is the difference in the front hubs.

I know, I just put a new left front on my 01, at the cost of $500.81 CDN. glad I didn't need to have it installed. jeez.

just another dealer only part. Even the parts guy said he was embarassed to charge that much for a wheel bearing assembly. Oh well, life goes on.

Good luck in finding aftermarket stuff.

The ABS is not the only difference......99 and down trucks had the hub style with the wheel studs pressed into the hub that clamped the rotor in place.....the bearing hub has to be removed to change the rotor. 00 and up have the rotor that slides over the wheel studs and the wheel clamps the rotror to the bearing hub. These hubs are not interchangable. Also, 2500 and 3500 hubs are not interchangable either as the wheel centering rings machined into the bearing hubs are different diameters. $300 US is a good deal for an ABS front bearing hub......list is around double that. Don't even think about installing a used bearing hub!

yeah i figured i would have to use a dealer for the hub. if you are paying more than $400 you're getting robbed. dealer wholesale is $288 and your cost should be about $365 or so, no more than $400

Both of my '95s have four wheel ABS.
