Your dream truck?
Just curious as to what your dream truck(s) might be. I know that mine will never be made, but here goes....
Chevy crew cab dually 4wd, D60 coil sprung front end with locking hubs, Cummins 24V p-pumped, Allison 6spd auto tranny, NVG272 transfer case, D80 rear end (detroit locker) with air bags. All of this with an exhaust brake, riding on 19.5s. Boy, if someone made that truck right off the showroom floor, sign me up. Basically all the good drivetrain components from a Dodge CTD with an Allison trans in a chevy

Just give me a 12v cummins with an NV5600/NP205 D60 and 80 in the newest nicest 4dr ford they make dually or single does not matter with no carpet, and an air ride that would clear 35-38s.
I could put the rest of the mods on myself.

Torn between a late 60's needle nose Peterbilt or a brand new Pete 379x.
Both with a 285'+ wheel base, twin screws, and flat top sleeper (Id be willing to take a larger sleeper on the 379x).
Id like to retro the late 60's Pete with a new ISX. But Im also partial to the older BigCam series engines.
This would be just fine for me.

Twin turbo V-8 Cummins Diesel, around 350-400 cubic inches, in a full-framed AMC 1/2 ton truck with all wheel drive, fiberglass body and an automatic driveline made of kick-$%^. Uber water injection system, sideliner exhaust, minimal ground clearance, suspension good for Daytona and a reverse-mounted sunroof actuated to the brake pedal to keep me cool without air conditioning.
And a 5'6", 33C-25-32 blue eyed brunette in the passenger seat. (Or maybe two blue-eyed 5'6" 33C-25-32 blue-eyed brunettes in the passenger seat.)
