I usually try to park way out in the back lot and take up 2 spots. In front of the apt I try to get the spots by the alleys so I don't get blocked in.

I can get in front or backwards without a problem when required but I try not to let that happen.

Someone got my hitch a few nights ago. I came out in the morning and noticed that there was grey paint all over it and some broken plastic on the ground. haha

I have always backed in when I park so now if I am forced to park nose in I feel like an idiot when I'm over the lines which is pretty much everytime. Having a dually lets me get away with it though..

PUBIC lots?!?......sorry, just found it funny, lol. Simple mind here I guess.

I usually only have problems with those dang cracker sized parking spots that are showing up everywhere.

Sure, they're saving space, and increasing spots...but come on, only a little hybrid can fit in them. SO, I end up taking up nearly four spots on the north forty

I try to back in unless there is a law against it like in college. I got really good at landing her in nose first but since I moved out here I either pull through or back in. If I can not find a spot that is big enough I just do not go to the store then, I will come back later when there is more room. If I have to I can fit her in a small spot but I always look for the easy spots first.

It depends on the lot. If it has big spots, or there are two open spots, you can pull in like nothing and land it in one parking stall. If its tight, back in. When I was going to school, I had a tire on both lines all the time since the spots were small. If I had pulled in, I would've been trapped between the dually and the car next to me. Backing in just makes sense then.

It just depends on where I am, how long i'm gonna be there, and what's in the back of the truck. I prefer to find a spot where I can back up to either a wall or a pole. Kinda makes it harder for someone to steal a tailgate if they can't let it down, or a hitch. Or if I have something really valuable, but heavy, it takes away the chance of someone just backing another truck up to mine, and sliding whatever is in the back into their truck (like a backhoe bucket). I know most people wouldn't think something like that would be a high theft item, but we've actually had them stolen off of the tractors on jobsites.

I guess i am the oddball here... i ussually just pull in..nose first or backwards, whichever gets me parked the soonest, hate cruising the lot looking for "that spot"....

the only time I worry about it is when the parking stalls are short.. then I try to back in on the edge, so the rear hangs out over the sidewalk or grass, that way my nose or tail aint sticking out into the driving lane.

Most of the time, Ill try pulling into a parking spot but Id rather back in.
Its a habit Iv gotten used to. I even back into my driveway.
That way if there is an emergency, I can just get in and go.
DW chuckles when I back into a slot.

I have the QC LWB and sometimes it is hard to get in some places but I do manage. It is easier to back in and then pull straight out for this truck.

I can pull in, just choose to back in. Its a PITA to back out of a spot, with the little parking spots they make.

i back in and park by ear. but really walmart has a wireless backup camera for 100 bucks with the screen. it would be pretty useful backing up with an extended cab and long bed but i have other priorities like o ringing the head and twins.

i am the type of person that will park towards the back of the lot and just walk, for a couple reasons

1st- im fat, i need excersise
2nd- i just pull straight thru down there and take up 1-1.5 spaces
3rd- no idiots to let a cart run into the truck
4th- i got cussed out at school for parking beside someone so often that the belch of black smoke when i start, turned the back of his car black
