Why are the Ford guys so touchy about their trucks?

thats nothing new...that site keeps the demand for antidepressants really high...they contribute to the economy

Ford guys spend alot of their time talking about getting a ford because its the "best overrall truck" according to them and then they spend alot of their time in the shop bragging about their truck while its being fixed...they have developed a new sense of insecurity with that 6.oh...they're scared it will let them down at the worst of times

I guess I would probably be a little touchy too knowing that I had paid $40-50k for what will probably be a "highway beautification item", and secure in the knowledge that the dealer and company that built it will do everything in their power to try and make me foot the bill to repair the design flaw that caused it to no longer be ambulatory.

Well, if it was still shiny, I figured that would come under beautification. And since most of them are still new enough to be shiny.....

ah, you cross posted it too late...

it was 3 pages long earlier today...the Mod cut them all out....
it was pretty ignorant, alot of childish stuff..and link to the Autoweek article stating Ford's lo$$ on warranty for the 6.0

and a LOT of Ford guys who think it's a token few who got "bad apples"
even after the autoweek link was posted.

Some of those guys have less than 3000 miles and the engines are coming out. And Ford world, that means they are taking the cabs off some of them to work on them.

Yeah, a whole bunch got deleted.

Pretty much anything that said that the 6.0L was junk..

Ya know the funny thing is........

I used to have a Ford, two of them actually. I used to hear all the stuff that the Dodge and Chevy's guys used to say about the Ford guys. Ya know what........you don't realize how true some of those statements were, until you take a step back and see it from the outside of the bubble that the die hard, brand loyal Ford guys live it. Thing is I am far from being brand loyal.

"My six liter is awesome, and has great power"...........pop goes the bubble

I feel sorry for anybody that pays 40 to 50 grand for a truck that doesn't work right. I don't care what label is on it, that is just plain wrong.
