I read a thread either here or at TDR that said 4500 was first build priority on 4-1-2004, am I the only one that saw this or does this post jog a few memories?

Like mexistan, I have seen them on my trips to Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, etc...

They have been down there for several years.

A year ago I was in a small town of Salulidos (sp) and saw a 4000...I ran over and took a pic to keep me from going thru withdrawals. I was there for about a week and really wanted to drive my truck!

The bigger ones look a bit different. If I see one in November on my next trip, I will take some pics and post them...or maybe mexistan will! Personally, I loved the looks of the bigger ones.

I have a couple of pictures of 6500 and 7500 Mexican trucks. They all have the same cab, the 4500 is roughly the same hight. The larger trucks have a taller grille and about a 10 inch extension to get to the bumper. I would like to get some of the mirrors, they mount the same place but are full hight west coasters. The way they are built is reminiscent of the older F700 and F800 fords, pickup cab and sheet metal to fill the hight. In another listing if found the printouts of all the engines produced in Mexican vehicles. The 5.9 is listed in the larger trucks.

Stan, I need a pair of 4500 badges... hmmmmm. I am amazed at how many people notice the 2500 badges on my dually.

When i was in Manzanillo i saw lots of the Dodge4500s but to me they looked exactly like our 2500 and 3500's. i saw no difference other than the badging.

What struck me as even cooler than that was the amazing number of brand new VW Bugs zipping around ... i wanted to drag one home with me!
