can't have everyone at Hoss's Bar laughing at you, huh?
we drove junk for so long, my wife & kids were pretty good at troubleshooting other folks automotive problems

As far as who deserves the truck the most....... I liked the Semper Fi truck because of the guys 18 month old daughter with brain stem cancer. I think that he deserves it. I also liked the Icebreaker truck because it meant alot to the guy to take his wife on the road with him. You're right, the "canned" aspect of the show is annoying. Especially the beginning part when the guy walks out and sees a bunch of guys on his truck. I haven't seen anyone swinging a baseball bat yet. They contact them first and it's all set up. Guess it's for safety. They don't want anyone killed. lol

I'd like to see the tricked up trucks in six months or so. It takes a LOT of time and effort to keep a truck looking good, and from what I've seen the owners weren't taking care of their equipment. The last one I saw had a boken headlight and mirror, when the mafia took it over. The trucks look great when they're done, but I'd rather see them help out someone who's already putting some effort into keeping his rig in good condition, and will keep up the tricked truck, rather than someone who'll let it fall apart around him.
I was an otr trucker for 18 years, and saw a lot of it.

Just got down watching the new one with the "Inferno" street rod looking truck. Well it got to the point where they said they ordered 7" Bull haulers for the exhaust,i was like cool that is gonne look great on the truck when the black smoke comes out. Well the were installing them and they installed lights on side to make them glow, and then proceeded to dump the exhaust out under the truck like a car hauler. I did not like that one bit, the truck looked awsome, but i would hooked the stacks up. I also like how the put the low profile 19"-20" wide back tires on the truck, but If i was the guy i would take the lights out of the stacks and hook them up when i got home.lol... I think i just heard that next Friday, Mar. 10th it is going to be an hour long show, not sure maybe some one can clearfiy.

My favorite truck on that show is the green and white one with the chopped top that they sometimes pull into the truck stop with to check out the rig they are going to overhaul.
But as far as the ones featured, I like American Classic myself.

I'm partial to the American Classic, I like big round headlights, the butterfly hood and just the plain old school look on it. Living where i am, there are a lot of O/O steel haulers and a decent amount of them have some very nice looking trucks, one that comes to mind is a KW that when you are under it you can see your reflection in the back of the fuel tanks becasue they are that clean and polished. That same truck hauls a michigan sled that has a polished aluminium frame. Anyways i like the show alot.

The trucks are cool but I think the show format and the acting are terrible, lots of fake, set up situations.
One thing I did notice last night when they where fixing up that ladies truck was that when they first showed her truck, it looked like it was summer and the trees were full of leaves. When she got it back and it showed her driving down the road, it was obviously a sunny winter day, no leaves on the trees... I'm assuming it takes them several months to trick one out. They make it seem as if they do it in a weekend.

Funny yall are on this topic, when I retire from the uscg, I am planning on finding a 67-72 Brockway and drop in a 12v71, cool trucks the brockways, they had wood inlays in the doors. Anyone know of any laying around to help me get a head start on it?
