Five bucks says he's got 15w40 in that thing. Being a HEUI setup, if the oil is thick and the truck is having a hard time making oil pressure off the get-go, its not gonna fire for a while. It doesn't help that he has a custom tune pouring fuel to it. That thing smokes worse than an houred out D10 on startup!

That would be a pretty good guess... !!!..
THe guy is an idiot... why would you rev your engine like that right after a cold start..
Oh well, its just another 6.0L...
Funny thing is, in the back ground, you see a Dodge backing out of the driveway... didnt have a problem starting that one!!!

Bad glow plugs and possible low ficm voltage but I lean more to faulty glow plugs. He probably melted the tips off of them with the sct extreme race tune.

15/40 year round on an HEUI system, although 5/40 is good you don't need it. The glow plugs come on at 80* if the engine has not been started. They literally need that extra heat to fire off. At 22* he is lucky it started at all.

Did you see how green the grass is, and the trees in the background? How about the truck? No frozen dew/frost on it- I know that nobody lies on the internet, but...
