Whats it worth out in alberta ?
Was thinking of heading out for a trip to visit my brother in alberta and was thinking of taking my truck out and selling it.
I was told that used trucks out there have a high resale value.
My truck is a 2001 SLT quad cab with 300 000 km on it. excellent shape as its more of a grocery getter than a severe work truck.
We should take my dads ford PSD out and sell it.. Its a 01 XLT crew cab with about the same miles.
Any thoughts would helpful...

I dont mean to rain on your parade but out here I dont think there is a huge market for trucks with 300+ kms. Most of the newer trucks I see have under 150k. With that kind of milage it will probably be worth pretty much the same in Ontario.
I watch the truck trader every week and have only seen a few with that many miles. Usually high milers dont sell right away (unless the price is right).

Ok guys, thanks for the heads up!
I will just hang on to it if thats the case and put a few hundred more on it before trading it in.
Still a good truck at this point and its almost paid for too.
