Not the truck's fault really. Few weeks after going huntin had apparently run over a limb that kicked up and pulled the clutch line down onto the fron drive shaft. It wore through and leaked out. That's when I found out about the non service clutch master/slave system. $137.00 and about ten minutes and no worries!

Fuel Shut off Solenoid.....had it towed to a friends shop..... fixed that and the same day before i left the shop the starter went out......
driving home one day and the throttle cable decided it didn't want to stay in one piece.....local dealer would replace it under recall but would not pay for towing, rental vehicle, and said they would have to "schedule" me in for an appointment and nothing was open till the next week.... knowing my luck storage would be involved too..... towed to the next closest dealer that had cable in stock.... 15 min later and another hour explaining all that's been done with my truck to the service tech's (shaved handles, stacks, exhaust, meth, BHAF) and i was on my way..... other than that *knock on wood* nothing major.... well the tranny sucked but i drove it.... more like slipped it 60 miles to a friends shop to install the new Goerend tranny.... didn't leave me stranded but i did have a rollback on standby.... it's good to have friends that RePo....

I missed a boating weekend because the driveshaft hanger bearing let go. I could still drive but I didn't think it was wise to pull the boat like that.

I blew the clutch in my '95 into a thousand pieces about a month ago. luckily i was just down the road from my brother's house, so he drug me back to his driveway w/ his '94 12 valve. it sat there till the weekend and we got a new clutch put in her. the clutch had about 170k on it and when we pulled the bellhousing away it spilled nice pile of springs on the ground

Clutch master cylinder took a dump (o-rings blew internal) in heavy traffic. I managed to get it home, with some insane driving techniques, like having to shut the engine off at stoplights, then start it in 1st gear with no clutch.

Made it home though.

Fuel line from the banjo on the IP to the fuel filter cracked and leaked 25gal of fuel on I93 south. Finally pulled up to a toll plaza in NH and noticed the fuel. It was -everywhere-. Im praying still there were no cyclists behind me in that lane
Turns out theres a cummins updated part with a flex line for just this reason.
Have also had the return hose pop a couple times, but never left me stranded.

throttle linkage on my 95 fell off going down the freeway towing a fiver. A few zip ties and i was rolling again, it idled at about 1200 rpm but i made it home the 200 miles. then the trip home from vacation pulling the fiver pulling about 38 psi of boost and blew and intercooler boot.

Lift pump hiccuped and quit just cruising up the street one day at about 20,000 mi. Got the replacement in-tank unit.

Sounds just like a handfull of lift pumps n starters. It's typical. Surprised the alternators have been good. Don't ever start this kind of thread on the Ford forums.

55k, so far no problems. Very happy! But I do watch that fuel pressure gauge closely.

blew an intercooler boot off and lost the clamp last friday. I had a 4" hose clamp in the truck, so I was only "stranded" for about 5 minutes. Ordered a new one from the dealer and found out there are 2 different sizes. The 12 valve intercoolers have a 4" inlet and outlet, and the 24 valves have a 3.5" inlet and outlet. My truck must have some spare parts in it because I have a 4" inlet and outlet. I guess it just wants to be a 12 valve
