Switched to Amsoil oil filter as I get a lot of extra removed form the oil for the extra $5.00 it cost over the Fleetguard Stratapore. When it comes to fuel filters I only use Baldwin PF7977. As for the Mopar oil filter don't like the idea of using a 30-35 micron (last I heard) nominal rated oil filter but then it is better then a Fram but not by much IMHO.

The numbers tell you how efficient a filter is. Like the OEM filter is rated to remove 95% of all particles 30 um and larger in the oil. Where the Amsoil is rated to remove 100% of all particles 20um and larger, and 98.7% of all particles larger than 15um. The more, finer particles you remove the less contaminate wear the motor gets.
