maybe im an old school kinda guy but I hate the look. Too much free space between the back doors and box. IMO But I'm ok with the head lights. And cummins means its not the look that counts.

I like it-hate the dually flares though. The second gen is still by far the best looking truck Dodge ever made!!

Perzactly!

I looked at an '06 and the remaining '05s, and as far as the '06 interior... . Rather than do a factory order for an '06 built my way in my color, I opted to do a wide radius search to find an '05 built mostly my way in an acceptable color.

Sorry Tomeygun, your loss, local dealer's gain.

Don't like the look in general, the rear and headlights are just horrible.

I love my new '06...what this cupholder talk?? Mine are the same as my '02....Only certain models have the crappy floor console with those cupholders, including manual trannys and manual xfer cases....Mine folds out of the dash like the old ones...I think the front end looks better than '02-'05..Has a more aggressive look to me...JMHO...

The dually fenders are almost a throwback to the First gen days...

And I hate to say it, but the fenders back in 1990 were ugly too... (Sorry Wannadiesel... )

The regular quadcab is still an option, right? There was talk that Dodge might make the longbed an option for later in the year, but it didn't sound like they wanted to since it would require a brand new frame or something like that.

But lets face it, most of the people out there are just going to buy the biggest truck they can find...

And I agree that, after my truck, the second generation duallies are the best looking trucks made for at least 30 years. A classic design for sure. Those rear fenders especially... The Jennifer Lopez of trucks, if you know what I mean... (Although I don't really like J. Lo, I figure that's the allusion most people stand a chance of getting... )

very roomy inside....but those fenders have to go...the dodge duallies always had the nicest *** out there...im starting to think that the ford superduties are looking better from the outside...dodge can't let that happen

Herrin821, some folks would ***** if you hung them with a new rope.

Good lookin' truck and even better motor.

Feels like a Ford forum all of a sudden...

I kinda' like the '06......of course that could be 'cause I bought one....

Seriously, though. Not real hot on the headlights, but I like the rest of the exterior. The interior is great.....'cept for the fake wood. I definitely prefer the seats - never liked the velour-type stuff in the earlier models.

Do the headlights WORK any better than previous models (if you have any experience with 2nd or early 3rd gens to compare)? They sure are bigger, but are they brighter?
