I'd have to go with the Chevy. I like the ride, handling, and the interior comfort of them.

I would stick with Dodge! I like the way everybody says Dodge is junk but on the Ford and GM sites they both compare their trucks to Dodge not each other! That makes me think we are setting the bar for Diesel pickups!
That said I would love a 24V in a 1987 3/4 ton 4x4 GMC with a NV5600 and Dana 80 rear end. That would be cool! The 84-87 GM's are the best looking truck ever made.

I'd take a 2001 Chevy 3500 body, with a Ford Dana60 up front, '04 Chevy Interior, Dodge frame, and the rest of the running gear from my '98. (Tranny, t-case, rear axle)

Easy enough, right?

Buy a Cummins and get a free Dodge. I would drive a Lada if it had a Cummins in it.

I'll take the one installed in the DODGE, please. I think the second and third gen rams are the best looking trucks on the road. I think the quality is every bit as good as ford or gm. No one going to stay in business making junk, especially as tight as this market is.

well....regardless of what motors are in the trucks, 2500 vs f250 id take the dodge...dually vs dually(ford) id take the dodge....diesel vs diesel id always take the dodge....now if an F550 had a cummins with a regular bed and full out crew cab then id take that....the bigger axle rating the thicker frame in those and the giant crew cab...but anything less than an f550 forget it......where did that built tough ford stuff come from anyhow...the generation before the 99's were the rustiest/fallapart trucks ive ever seen....there's nothing tough about that im sorry...u cant see a pre 99 ford without rotted wheel fenders

I agree with RedNeck1!!!

I would take a 2nd Gen and stuff it into a 1970's body and frame. Of course it would have the NV5600 trans and be a 4x4 machine.

I been in several Chevy Trucks... I personal think the Dodge's cab are more comfortable and larger over the Chevy cabs...

What even worse my Dad (Rest his soul) use to work for GM (Van Nuys Division). I had a shot at a custom made one of a kind truck from GM and I still picked the Dodge Cummins... Sorry Dad! It was basically price... The Chevy was $45-55K with discounts... The Dodge was $31K on sale! Hmmm... I would to for that gap...
