Western Hauler Trucks with wings
I've seen some of the trucks that Western Hauler has done that have a cab wing/spoiler. Is that what its called, and where are they coming from?

I don't think its effective for those trucks unless their pulling a slant nose gooseneck, however, I think its enough to help push the air over the cab guard on my bed.

I really wanted one of those when I was rodeoing, but I haven't pulled a trailer enough to justify me running around being nervous driving through places with low over hang.

So what is added to the Western Hauler conversions that pushes the rear end so high in the air? Is that air bags, or re-arched springs? I've never seen any Chevy/GMCs with so much difference between front and rear height.
I passed one this weekend and it was even higher in the back end than the one shown here in the pic. Definitely looked out of place.

We have 3 western hauler trucks here at work, 2 with the "spoiler". IMO it does nothing but add a look. Its not at the right angle to deflect anything, and it cannot operate as a true spoiler (which is used to create down draft) helping rear wheel traction at high speed due to its location. I do now every truck we have has airbags in the rear, however the back end isnt jacked up. Maybe others go driving around with them cranked all the way up...dunno.
