Well it didn't take'em long
I guess the bombings of those poor folks in London & a coming hurricane must threaten oil supplies on our part of the world.
Fuel up 16 cents and I didn't see it coming. I did top off at one station that's priced a little higher but a coupla days later in the knee jerk price increases. They'll probably go up today.
I wonder which product makes the most vegetable oil per acre?

Around Chicago the gas prices in the last few days have risen sharpley to the point of nearly equaling diesel prices - which were previously higher than premium unleaded. Diesel is about $2.47/gal, unl is about 2.39/gal as of today. Unl was about $2.19/gal before this week.

I hate to say this but we still have the cheapest fuel in the world. In most other countries gas is $5.00 to $6.00 a gallon when converted to gallons and american dollars. I'm not saying that gas is cheap here, just that were still paying lower prices than the rest of the word.

In the National Dragster, the NHRA publication, old timer Gene "Snowman" Snow of the Revell funny car fame and the NHRA 1st car into the 4's and Texas oil millionair stated that the oil money is so good now at $60/ bbl. that he wished he had that kind of money when he was racing in the Top Fuel class.
What's that mean for us? It means that domestic producers are getting these high prices and pointing fingers everywhere else. Bet all the wells are pumping in Kentucky too. Isn't that spelled monopoly or at least conspiracy? I'm gettin' a bad feeling about a certain family in power in the state of Texas.
