TurboCharged Air Temp ???

My buddy was askin me some questions today about turbos so I figured I'd hop in here and ask if anyone has an idea.

Stock truck
Lets say cruising speed 10 lbs boost or so 80 degrees out. What would the approximate temp be of the charged air coming out the turbo, then what might it be after the intercooler.
I was just guessing, but I was thinking around 120 out of the turbo and then 90 out of the intercooler.

?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????

I have an air temp sender tapped into my air horn.
The intake temp is almost always 20°F above the outside air temp.
This is even when the temp going into the innercooler is over 200°.

I've often been curious about that, but have never measured. I thought I saw a thread on here very recently by someone who was measuring that. A search might turn it up.

PM RowJ. I believe he was using an extra pyro to measure pre-CAC temp. He could probably tell you what the temps are with his setup.

The hot side pipe will be closer to 180 at that kind of boost, cold side will be down around 100 - 110.

Some do. You can buy air to water intercoolers for after market supercharger setups. The new Z71 corvette has the Air to Water intercooler mounted in the lifter valley of the intake.

With my 12 valve and aftermarket intercooler it is around 170-220* in and 85-90* out.
Mash the pedal and it will make 40 psi and about 450*+/- in and about 100-120 out at your 80* example.
