Turbo spool freq?

Can anyone give me a guesstimate of what audio frequency the stock turbos sing at when spooling/spooled up? I yanked the silencer a while back and installed a BHAF last night...took her out for a good run this morning, she spools up a bit quicker but can't hear a thing from the turbo. New exhaust/stacks will be done next week sometime.

Finally got to really thinking about it, I didn't take into account that for the last 10 years or so I'm pretty much deaf from about 1000khz on up (80% loss). Waiting on the VA to finish up a mountain of paperwork for new hearing aids. At only 37, its sad i know, but a good lesson for any heavy shooters out there...wear them stupid ear plugs!!

Human hearing range is 20 to 20,000 Hz if you're missing 10,000 and up you definitely won't hear the turbo.

Brain was thinking faster than my fingers that should have been 1000hz.... guess that means i definately won't hear it although everyone else can enjoy it....unless my new ears will help.... What a delema, this might even give me a reason to actually use them, but then i'd also lose the excuse of not hearing for not doing things when the wife asks too

Thanks.

Most of the whistle is due to vane passing on the intake to the turbo compressor wheel. Lets see an average speed of about 100,000 Rpm under load with 6 inlet vanes I think.. thats 10,000 Hz.

I've read that at full boost the wind speed at the turbo inlet exceeds 200 mph.

Well all that is over my head, but... I have straight pipe stack Detroit ears I could not hear my turbo until I installed the EZ and boost elbow. Soon will go HX40 and 4 inch pipe, I wonder...

I have to really choose an alarm clock, can't hear the the things. I have an EOS camera setup and it was months until I realized that it beeps all the time, I just do not hear it.

You think the alarm deal is funny? I set up one of those invisable dog fences here, the ones where the collar attachment is 'sposed to beep when they get close and then shock a bit if too close.... needless to say i set the whole thing up and wanted to test it, got myself zapped a dozen times or more and was plenty ripped, calling the manufacturer on the phone to give them the riot act about defective this and that....and the wife comes by asking me what all the beeping is, they beep around 2khz...... makes me the
