NOW thats cool - - - - I would rather have a 2nd gen with that conversion than a new megacab- - - - I wonder how much this would cost?

ok that's gonna be my next mod after the twins of course!!! so is around $12,000 what it would cost for everything start to finish???? I'd really like to have a crew cab & almost sold my truck to buy a 3rd gen. but after alot of thinking I just can't part with the old girl, may do some checking into this for real, Dusty

It's a number I thought I heard being tossed around on a cable channel show that featured Bayer...

I'm sure it's not cheap to stretch the frame, fabricate filler panels, fabricate functional doors all while making it look stock.

Wayne told me at that get together that the truck used to belong to Jay Novacek with the Dallas Cowboys when it was new. Apparently, Novacek must have had it custom built. Im not sure the mileage on it, but it is pretty high now. Definately unique. Takes a little space to turn that rig around.
