How's Dodge do in Norway? I couldn't believe how many Chrysler products I saw in Sweden (lots). Even the cops drive full size Dodge vans.

There is a lot of Rams and other American fullsize trucks here, se them everywere, but they havent sold so many after 2005 because of new tax rules, that make them to expensive.
Was on the GM dealer a couple monts ago and they were asking $ 220 000 for a new GMC Yukon.
Taxes are based on horsepower, CO2 polution and weight ,make it hopeless to buy tose big cars, so we have to take care of those we have.
They sell a Dodge Caliper here now with 2 litre diesel a small car with a good price.

I guess i don't see where it specifies a diesel engine option. Could you point that out to us, "english-only" folks?

I DO want to see Norway sometime. And actually I like the Tundra a little more now that I've witnessed it in person. When I saw the first pictures I really disliked is also. however the hood & grill seem flimsy & plasticy in a really crude manner.

Puttin a diesel in a Toyota or Honda is like putting habanero sauce on ice cream. Completly worthless and in very bad taste. Stick to fourbangers and toys.

The third gen truck styling is a bit over the top too IMHO.
This new Tundra does look a bit different...but I care more about reliablity than just about anything else...and Toyotas are reliable.
I don't particularly like the dash either...but probably would not be a deal breaker for me.
To each his own, but I think if Toyota were to release a comparibly powered diesel with comparable GVCWR? and price...it would sell quite well.
BTW, the price of the new gasser Tundra is quite in line with the big three.
Also, I see a lot of posts here and the RV site I visit trying to compare it with a 3/4 ton...it is not.
Once again, I think if Toyota releases a diesel in North America it will be a great success.
It is too bad that the big three have treated their customers like dog dirt for the last few decades. They are going to get what they deserve.
Having said that..I in no way beleive this is the fault of the union assembly worker as Toyota and Honda workers make about the same money, give or take a bit...but they can only assemble what the engineers and bean counters hand them...if it is good it will be a good product...if it is poorly desighned to save the last penny...then thats what you end up with.
I won't go on about customer service and waranty issues as I am done my rant.
I think I feel better now?

I think the new Tundra looks better than the new '08 Superduty.
