Toyota Ad

Did anyone see the ad during the superbowl of the toyota stopping 10,000 lbs on the downhill grade in like 2 seconds. I personally think that load would have been sitting in the bed of the truck if they could even get it stopped that fast. There are going to be people thinking they can pull a load without any care in the world and kill somebody.
just my 2cents

Sorry put in the wrong place.

I noticed that also! He was going REAL FAST down that hill/ramp with the inside view and then all of a sudden you see the tires lock up and stop the Truck and trailer REALLLLLLLLLLYYYYYY FASSSSTTTTT!!!! Trailer should have been in front of the truck in any normal situation!! BUT the Ramp that the Truck was on is grated and that will definatly help in the stopping!!! All commercials are fake anyway in what they are making the general public beleive!! Read the Fine Print at the end of the ad and it will tell you that!

Yeah, I saw it too. I like the one where they put 1 ton of "material" in the bed of the half ton truck. You like the squat on the truck?

You have to admit though, the big 3 are nervous with that Truck. The Tundra has more tq and hp than any other gas truck. When they come out with a diesel 3/4 ton it will be no doubt an awesome truck.

When I saw the commercial in question the first thing I thought was "Did they hire Ford's advertising agency or what?"

Made about as much sense as those old Ford truck ads where the truck is pulling a ship with the chain going up from the truck at a 45 degree angle. How could it pull anything hooked like that? Oh...yea the truck was on ice too.

I hear a lot of people saying the Toyota's are so good, I don't see any I would rather have than what I have. I have never been passed by one.

I do like the Rockem Sockem Robot's and the Dodge truck.

I told my Ford buddys that the ship was not offloading a tow vehicle, It was dropping anchor.

As MOST owners rarely carry anything heavier than a cooler, or a couple of bags of mulch in the bed of their trucks, I don't think 'Yota corporate has too much to worry about with overloaded rigs.
