Is there a FORD DTR site?

Hey guys.....sorry.....I'm doing this for a buddy. He has a Ford Diesel and is impressed about all the Dodge guys helping each other out.

Does anyone know of a Ford site like this?

He said one that was helpful like DTR. I'm not aware of a ford site that is as helpful and friendly as DTR.

Dieselstop.com has some good info but is certainly not nearly as friendly as DTR. If you just want to read there is good stuff there, but you will be heckled as a noob when you start asking questions.

Other options are Ford-trucks.com (not a diesel specific site, but has a few knowledgable dieselheads), and oilburners.net (not a Ford specific site, open to all diesels, has specific forums for each brand). I haven't been on either in a long while but in the past they were both much friendlier the the diesel stop.

Better be wearing kevlar if you buy a ford, 'cause your gonna get burned.

Sorry, couldn't help it. It was just there waiting to be said.

Besides, the last Ford I bought was -- and still is -- an absolute POS. I really need to drag my trailer to where it is sitting quietly rusting away and haul it to the boneyard.

If you are looking for Ford trucks in general then check out www.ford-trucks.com/. They are a pretty decent bunch over there. I used to be a member there myself before I bought my Dodge.

dieselstop.com is my vote, a wealth of knowledge in the user base. That said site is overly moderated and prone to vanishing threads with no real cause and even less explanation. This is my first dodge so I am learning my away around the truck and this site. So far this is a much more friendly "new guy" site. Good luck
