stupid question...

Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum. I am a new diesel owner and loving it. Here is the question, when I shut my truck off it shutters ( also a rattle ). It's a 2500 with 400 miles on it. Thanks in advance... try not to laugh too hard... jeanne

Perfectly normal.

A lot of compression coming to an instant stop.

Don't have the doors open when you shut it off, the hinges won't last long.

We only laugh at the people who deserve it! Just kidding...this is one of the most laid back sites out there. Oh, and don't forget to use the "search" option at the top of the page if you want to find past answers to some questions.

Suppose someone had pulled your leg and said "RUN! Someone has put gasoline in the tank by mistake." ? We've been known to do that from time to time too. Welcome anyways. Nat
