Stainless or Aluminized Steel exhaust?

Just curious is there a difference in amount of heat disapation between Stainless and Aluminized stell exhaust. Just curious.

aluminum dissipates heat faster than stainless...but I'm not sure that it would make a difference on exhaust.

I just realized that your post asks about "aluminized exhaust", not aluminum. There is a difference...aluminized just means a piece of steel is dipped into a vat of molten aluminum to provide a rust-proof coating...kinda like galvanizing. So, there really wouldn't be much of a difference between heat dissipation of aluminized steel and stainless steel. The difference would be that the aluminized can still rust once the aluminum flakes off, and the stainless will never rust.

My take would be if you can swing it, go for the Stainless Steel.
