I'm picky about stacks. IF I were putting them on a truck then I would only put them on a dually. They just don't look right on SRW trucks in my opinion. I'd probably go with 5" turnouts and they'd be turned out about 45 degrees....at cab height or ever so slightly above it. Basically, they'd be very similar to 12vordie's posted above.

Depends on how you plumb them up. Look in my gallery and you will see mine smoke pretty evenly.

I used a 5" pipe across the front of the bed with 4'' entering at a right angle to the 5". There is no splitter in it just making everything equal to get even smoke from both sides. Got stack for free just about 200 in pipe and 90 deg bends. Pics inside enjoy. Jethrro

I've been thinking about stacks since I got my rig, I wanted to do 5" black miter or straight just above the cab only thing stopping me is the snow in the winter, those stacks would be full some days, would look like a snow cone

it would prolly blow the snow outta there in a hurry. but the safer thing to do is put a can over em. for the rain and the snow

Duals all the way. I just ordered a 5in kit "from a buddy" with out the stacks for less than i could build it and got 2 5in by 48in miter cuts off ebay for $100. I was thinking about a small 1/4in valve welded in the lower radius off to the side of 90 under the bed to drain the system when it rained. anybody tried this.

5 inch leveled with the cab look the best IMHO...i used to have them about 8 inches above the cab and now that ive lowered them i'll never look back...just looks more balanced/natural....

u dont have to worry about rain or even snow depending on where u are...ive survived 2 winters with them up here in Toronto

you'll love the sound

For those asking, I used 6" x 1/8" pipe to go across the bed, used two reducers to put the stacks into. I have enough flex pipe underneath the truck to connect the exhaust to the inlet of the chamber.I bought the stacks off of e-bay for 170.00 dollars with shipping. I put a splitter inside the chamber to equal out the exhaust and it worked flawlessly.I'' try to get some more pics in my gallery soon, but it's hunting season, so there isnt much spare time.all together I have 230.00 wrapped up in my stacks.

I love the duals, I have two 5" turn outs just a hair taller than the cab of my truck. They are turned at a little less than 45 degrees. I have a 5" square box tubing inside the bed with one 4" hole coming out as close to the center as I could and hooked back up with flex pipe!
