took off for the same reason, loud, bleeding ears and so on. If you get a muffler longer is better. I think I found some that were 32 or 33 inches and a guy at one of the big muffler companies said the longer muffler would cut out the drone better.[/QUOTE]


You bet...Checking into a muffler also..I contacted Freightliner and they have a resonator you install inside each pipe...They are 16.25 inches long...Maybe a addition inline muffler and it may not be to bad...This is why I'm still deciding if I want to go this route...
