LOUD!ANNOYING!DRONING!
They were just a little loud lol. They sounded dang good and looked sharp, but I started driving the truck a lot more often, and with no a/c right now, I have to keep windows open. With the radio maxed I could barely hear it. It really wasnt any louder than out the back with the windows closed though. The stacks are actually still on the truck lol just not hooked up. they will be in the classifieds before long.

No it was straight pipe. I couldve put my muffler in, but I was just ready to stick back over the axle. Im a college guy in a college town, so the stacks attracted more attention than I wanted (police). Barely take off from a light and theyd think I was racing.

I had my old dodge with 4" almost turbo back to a 4" stack. I orginally had it straight pipe and it literaaly popped my ears it was so loud. I couldn't hera my phone ring, I had to put it on vibrate in my pocket. Of course I couldn't talk on it anyways so it was useless to have while driving. I added a muffler and it helped alot but it was still very loud, but oh so cool. I sometimes miss it.

heres mine, homemade jobbes to fit between the lights on the bed.
took off for the same reason, loud, bleeding ears and so on. If you get a muffler longer is better. I think I found some that were 32 or 33 inches and a guy at one of the big muffler companies said the longer muffler would cut out the drone better.
