General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

So.. I paid for an oil change.

Helfman Dodge on I-10 and Silber. Not sure what the drive in price is now, but since they are where I bought the truck and have had them listed as my dealer for warranty, I get the coupons for a lot of maintenance work including the $36.95 oil/lub at least every 90 days.

Call Alan Childs(Server Writer) at 713-533-6266 and ask him. They have treated me right for 4 years now and I do trust the service department. Sales staff is another issue.

They can't void your warranty just because you did your own oil change; The law is very clear about that. I've never had the dealer do any regular maintenance on any of my cars, unless it was included with the purchase of the vehicle. My only concern about doing my own oil change on the 6.7 is the amount of oil I need to recycle--I might have to start putting out 5 gal buckets at the curb
