Is that small 4.4 F150 Diesel a go? Will they offer it in the E-series vans?

Looking for a van and wondering if I should hold out. Looking E250 ext or E350 ext. Prefer the Chevy van but would settle on the Ford if it coems with a better engine.

What yall think?

Did you try a Dodge Sprinter? I would not go with ANY first year engine.

I hear the sprinter is a POS and overpriced. The Dmax is great but I'm gonna see if the 4.4 will be more efficient.

Sprinter was great until they stuck the V6 in. I wouldn't own one with the 6.

Well I've heard it's more than just the engine that breaks on them. Anyway, I can get a 5 year old chevy/ford van with 100K on it for less than half the price of a 5 year old sprinter with 200K on it.

I'm might get a cheapo for now and hold out to see if that little powerstroke is offered in the E250 EXT. I'm really really tired of using my personal truck for pickups/delivery. I think the Dmax is a little overkill for what I need.
