Here is what I have heard. The injection pump is a 12cyl inline. With each injector being fed by 2 delivery valves. Boost in excess of 200psi off the line is not uncommon, and RPM in excess of over 5k.

I don't know about 200 psi, but I'm sure he is well into the 70-80 range. With the amount of smoke he shoots, I don't think he has alot of air with that fuel.. At 200 psi it would require a cooler and piping from a gas compressor package for his intercooler and temperatures in the mid 300°F intake.
200 Psi would require 3 staging the turbos I would think..??
None the less, I think Schied has a website.

No, it was 200psi. Daniel, aka CMNS_PWR was there and seen it when he blew the head gasket, last year I believe (The video is floating around somewhere). Said he had a laptop in the truck that showed all vital readings, when he left the line he was over 5 grand and over 200psi. Couldnt tell how far over 200psi because his computer only went up that far. And yes, he has a mist system for the intake air.

Re:Schied truck
Kent and Ed came down here to Lanesville Friday night and put on one heck of a show for the crowd at my pull. 8) I don't care what he's running as long as he keeps doing it. There was another truck from Ohio that was here as well (almost the twin to Kent's ride) and he ended up beating Kent. No one knew who he was but he really had that Dodge screamin. Those guys really wowed the crowd, all I heard at the pull Saturday was "those trucks where really pi_ _ed off" ;D
Thanks again to all the 8,000lb Diesel Super Stock pullers for putting on one awesome show. Hope to see you guys back next year.

Re:Schied truck
Well, just for giggles I went to see what HVAC's truck ran in his drag truck, 90 Psi..
So I guess 200 isn't inconceivable. Still blows my mind..

Re:Schied truck
I am going to guess that the Ohio truck was also a Scheid prepared truck. I talked to the guys at Scheid's Lafayette a couple of weeks ago when I was returning my TC core. They told me that they had just finished building a puller for a guy in OH. Either way ya gotta love the hood stack 8)
