General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

Saw something interesting this morning...

Up here a some of the car manufacturers do a lot of cold weather testing on their upcoming models. Dodge/Chrysler is the biggest and most visible one.

Well, this morning I saw the usual wagon train of them and they were minivans. As I passed the leader I noticed written in grease pen on the rear window above the filler hole, "Diesel". I didn't get a chance to scope it out, however these guys pretty easy to find.

I'll keep you posted if I find anything. Just thought it was interesting.

Nope, wasn't a Benz. Although they do test some sedans here, their groups are always small. This minivan had the distinct chrysler logo on the grill. Also it was the usual dodge/chrysler wagon train. 4-5 + test vehicles in the group. This towns small enough, we'll meet again. I know where a lot of their break/meal spots are. Gonna start carrying the digital camera with me.
