sae #1 bell 6bt adapter availability?

Yes, as far as I know 6BT's were available with SAE# 1 and 2 flywheel housings as well as he special Chrysler housing and a couple other special housings. I have two 6B's w/SAE#2 housing sitting on my floor right now. You would need the S/N off an engine that used the #1 housing and then call Cummins to get a number for the housing. Either that or find a piece of equipment that used a 6B w/#1 housing in a wrecking yard and get it that way.

I have a 6bt #2 flywheel housing with matching flywheel and starter, just can't find a fuller #2 bell anywhere around here. I have seen 6bt flywheel housings for #2, #3, the ford tranny, dodge, and the chevy small and big block gasser pattern. Also found a spicer twin counter shaft tranny with a #2 bell, but no fuller. I need the #2 bell and a push clutch setup for a little project, was wondering whether to shift gears and start looking for #1 fwh.
