Sad News today.....
A buddy of mine is selling his V10 SD (which is good) but he ordered a Silverado D/A. Couldn't talk him out of it. Told him if he didn't buy a Dodge, he'd still be better off taking his chances with the 6.0 PS.......
He actually said he likes the way the Chevy looks. Can't stand the Dodge.
Guess it IS true, there ain't no accountin' for taste.......

The joke goes, "Have you heard why Chevy slants the headlights of their new trucks? To exploit the Asian (Isuzu) influence after-all the Duramax is an Isuzu built powerplant."

Look at my sig and you know what i like, would not trade it for the others.
With that being typed. My buddie just got his brand new D/max last week.
I can tell you this, it has options that i would,ve loved to ordered
on my Dodge Cummins. Dodge for some reason doesn't even offer some of the options that chevy has.
Examples : seperate remote keys ( Dodge too, but) chevy has
#1 and #2 remote that remembers where remote #1 had the driver's seat set, what the driver side air temp was set in degrees
and what raido stations was set with remote #1.
So my buddie tells me that when his wife presses the unlock button on her remote #2 then all the settings change to what she had set when she drove it last.
He has a very nice diesel truck, but I still would not trade mine for his. It's a Cummings thing

Yup...it's kinda like that dumb kid down the road (everybody knows one!) who has a POS car and the $5000 stereo system in it. Problem is, you look pretty funny sitting in a car, stereo pumping, and not moving anywhere!

Yea, Came home this past weekend only to find the guy next door had a new cheby dully setting in his driveway. What an ugly truck. He did have a 1/2 ton Dodge that he used to pull his horse trailer. Transmisson went on it so he decided to trade. He wanted a Dodge but wasn't sure about the new Dodge automatics. His wife wanted an automatic so he did the research and liked the Allison. So I do give him credit on that one. I haven't had the chance to check his new ride out and he is avoiding me like crazy. I guess he thinks that I am going to razz him about that new butt ugly truck he owns. Oh well I guess it could have been worse (like a new Ferd).

I have always been a Chevy nut but the new nose is to ugly. I realy like the look of the GMC. I wish I could have a Cummins in a GMC Crew Cab. The only reason I bought my new truck was for the Cummins. I dont mind the DMax but they are just to expensive. The GMC I wanted was $7000 more than this Dodge.

Heavy Duty,
The new Chevy's are butt ugly, but when I look at the front of the new Dodge, I am reminded of a Carp. Especially the ones that have the painted frontend instead of the chrome.
Regards,
Bill
