that looks good, but according to their web site, they're only in upstate ny. i might give it a try if it were local.

I recieved a gallon of Boeshield T9. I sprayed the frame, the whole underbody, all the seams (tried to get up inside where there were openings, all the suspension parts, leafs, front and rear diffs. I used about 1 and a half quarts total. I should have enough for the next two winters. Obviously it's a long term "test" but I'll let you guys know how the rust, or lack of, seems to be doing.
Did I mention that I HATE ROAD SALT......

I've heard about mag chloride. We have calcium chloride added to our road salt. Nasty stuff as well...

btw- the Boeshield dryed with a nice shiny surface. Feels like wax to the touch. I laid it on thick...

i might give it a try. i'm concerned about wiring and sensors being exposed to the mag. i had a 2nd gen that started having weird abs sensor stuff as a result of mag chloride. it's notorious for rotting out electrical insulation, as many over the road truckers have found out the hard way.

Boeshield is good for battery connections and electrical connections. I sprayed it liberally on my batts and as many connections as I could. Cheap insurance, if you ask me...

I go thru the self operated wash, I hose the under carriage down then head home, once its dry I spray the whole under carriage with a silicone like spray, WD-40, PB Blaster, or whatever I happen to have in the garage, truck is a 99 and looks mint underneath.
