Question AT remote filters, no pan filter?

I have a question. Could I install dual spin on filters on my automatic transmission on the lines to the cooler and remove the filter in the pan?
If so, I could service the AT by changing the fluid by installing a drain plug in the pan and replace the dual spin-on filters instead of dropping the pan every time for service.

Would this effect the pressure? Is the spin-on filters adequate? Would it hurt or affect the pump performance?

It seems to be a great servicing alternative to the AT. Tranny guys please give me and the world you .02 worth.

I asked the same question of Bill K of DTT, he said leave the trans filter in but skip changing it with every other service to start then go from there as to how many services of the add on warrant checking the internal filter. You should still drain the pan at every service and add new fluid though. Just draining the pan removes about one third of the fluid (6 qts) which is plenty to keep the fluid "fresh".
