A REAL set of stacks......! ! !

While on vacation a couple of weeks ago, I saw this truck in Sidney, B.C., Canada, near Victoria, B.C. I asked the driver about them, and he said they welded them up out of 12" water pipe.............http://www.tempics.homestead.com/truck1.html.

That is totally wicked,I love how they look in black. Did you get to hear how they sounded? I am glad they were not on a pickup that would of just looked retarded.

So, if there was a sexy woman, and you made her four times bigger, would she still be a sexy woman? Like, if Petra Nemcova was 20 feet tall, would that be a good thing?

Nooooo!!!

Aesthetics do not function well on extremes...

The last time I saw something stacked like that it had a cruise ship attached to it. Those are totally off the wall.

I live close to the same area as this guy it is a 2 stroke jimmy in that it almost blows you of the road when it goes by. I have been trying to catch him for months a get a picture but never have the camera when I see him. I am glad he has finally been caught on camera it is almost to much to believe. It kinda looks like a cartoon character big ears and a big nose I wonder if it could fly.

Why don't we all find some stacks off from an old ship. I'm sure they would look really cool!!

Ship stacks are HUGE. The last ship I was on, the USCGC Chase, had a few sets of stacks. The main generators had pipes that had a diameter of 12 inches, the main diesel propulsion had stack pipes that were 30 inches (2½ feet) in diameter. The real monster was the stacks for the propulsion gas turbines, the stacks for them were 8 feet across .
