They are so hard to find becuase there are so many people like you that are all over them.

Bend easily when you hit something? Well, maybe if you run into a concrete wall. 4" sch.40 is pretty tought stuff. I have hit a few deer, and none of them lived to talk about it. It was actually kind of hard to tell it was a deer afterwards.

Yep.....They are tough and the wieght is not that bad......Made no diff in the way my truck sat. Made a diff in everything I've ever hit with it though.....A few Whitetail and some unruly cows have felt the wrath.

Massey, You might pay homage to a couple of 4x4 wrecking yards around your area. There are a couple here in Houston that, if you scour regularly, can find almost any after market part you could dream of. You can usually pick up items at 50% of new cost. Good luck in finding your cowcatcher....

If you buy a ranchhand your paying EXTRA Money for the ranchhand name.... I have a "Gage" front end replacement that I purchased from a local dealer here in TX which saved me about $300 from a Ranchhand...... I didn't feel like the "Ranch Hand" name was worth an extra $300 when they're are front end replacements out there with just as good if not better quality!

Haha yeah, I'd like to find one of these yards. There is one in this town, but they hardly know what a Dodge Cummins is The whole idea is to find one closer to Illinois or Kentucky for me... If you anyone happens to be scrounging in one of those gold mines of a junk yard, give me a holler.

I would just like to find one of those dually "wrap-around" rear replacement bumpers to protect my fenders.

I cant justify paying $850 for one. I would pay 300 for a good scratched up one though.....

Hey MasseyMan! Chicken out on making your own? Were my drawings no help? With the price of steel these days, it is probably cheaper just to buy one like your thinking. Good luck!

Hey now, I didnt chicken out! haha. I made my own headache rack did I? Turned out dang good too if you ask me! Your drawings were great. They are alot better than what I thought they were going to be. Steel is very expensive now. You are probably right about it bein cheaper to just buy one. But I dont think I will ever find another, so I will just put my $350-400.00 towards making on.
