Pro Comp Tires

4Wheelparts is running a buy three get the forth tire free sale. I'm thinking about the 285/75R16's, 50K mile tires for my 2500. $555, but I don't know if that includes mount and balance. Decent price?

Has anyone had these tires? Good, bad, log wearing, etc?

Its a good price. Pro Comps are good tires or as I like to say "good as any".

Since most of my driving is highway and city, I'm looking at the all terrain.

Thanks for the price input.

I'm running 35" Pro Comp AT's on my wife's Suburban and they're wearing pretty good. They are made by Cooper.

i am running the 285 a/t`s on my 01 2500..i have put about 6000 miles on em so far and i love em...they are wearing great they ride awsome no vibration or noise...they were great in the snow. i had em up the mountians towing about 4,000 lbs and it was raining they did great in the mud now when i say mud i am only talking about 1 to 3 inches of mud it was the dirt roads up to the cabin....

I've got almost 20000 miles on my procomp 285 ATs. they're about 1/3 worn. They are good tires...I have towed some with them. They are starting to get a little noisy..I can hear them over the rest of the truck sometimes. I have done quite a few burnouts and some powerslides ...I am happy with them and would definately get them again.

i am about to order the 315/75 extreme all terrains. my old man runs some 33/12.50/17 original all terrains on his 04, and he has about 20000miles on them and they are just starting to wear in the center of the tread (time to rotate anyway) but he also drives very lightly in a stock 325/600 cummins...compared to my heavy right foot and 450+hp

Yep, I was going to replace my set (285 BFG A/T's) with the same. Now I see these and am wondering if 400 buck's in savings is worth it for the Pro Comps. I haven't really heard anything about them, but my BFG's have lasted 42k and have been a wonderful tire. I could go another 8 - 10 on them, but I like new meat. I'll ponder on it...

well i got to lookign and changed my mind...as of today 4wheelparts lists the BFG all terrain 315/75R16 as out of stock until March 15th, but the price is $164 a tire...so im definitely buying the BFG A/T, gonna place my order tonight and hopefully march 15th when they are available ill get some tires for my rig

Stay away from the Xterrains...........I had those tires and HATED them. Everything about the tire I disliked except for the looks of them. I wouldn't put another set on even if somebody gave them to me........

I had a set of ProComp M/Ts on my Jeep and wasn't impressed, especially with the lack of traction on wet pavement. Granted, the ATs are more suited to pavement driving with the tread pattern and added siping, but the M/Ts were downright scary. Didn't wear very well, either.

Def stay away from the MT if you do a lot of street driving. They are specaly made for rock so that means ofter rubber and fast wear on the street. If you need a good all time off road tire go for it. I do like the Xtream AT looks good with some good tread pattern. Harder rubber so better wear.
