Powerstroke w/alot of gray smoke from exhaust

My buddy called me today about a problem he is having. Its blowing alot of gray smoke from the exhaust. I asked him if the head gasket is blown. He was told from another Ford guy that it sounded like anti-freeze getting in the combustion chamber through the injector.

Does this sound right? I don't know anything about Powerstrokes. Its a about a 2004.

I'm not a Ford guy but it sounds like the turbo could have a problem. Just a guess.
