Power Wagon with cummins
Hey,
I was thinking about this. Who thinks that Dodge should put the Cummins in the Power Wagon as an option. If you think of it, the Cummins would be much more useful in the construction buisness or whatever. Im not saying the Hemi is bad but the Cummins would just be better.

I drove a hemi before I bought my truck, and I ended up with the CTD for one reason.. It didn't feel like crap when I drove it. The hemi wasn't all its cracked up to be, especially behind the auto trans. If they offered a CTD in the power wagon, Id be willing to bet they'd sell a whole lot more.

I drove a Hemi truck as a loaner once when my truck was in the shop and I too was not impressed.
Throw a winch, flares, and a little lift on your truck and you will have your own Power Wagon! Who wants to drive around with 4:56 gears anyways?

I had a QC 4x4 auto Hemi truck for about a year. The HEMI hype got to me, dreaming of my younger days of the 60s&70s I guess. It was fine as long as you did not use it as a truck or take it off road. Averaged 10.5mpg city. Towed a 7000# trailer load from Colorado to Houston, was not sure I was going to make it up some grades. Traded it in on my Cummins 3 days later.

Yea i though the Hemi was a little over the top in the truck. They should stay in cars. Going a little off topic, i think im gonna trade in my dually for a single wheel instead. I just think a dually is two big. I'm not doing any contruction or towing anything. Just bought a diesel for fun . The dually is just to big for me, getting a single wheel in the next 2-3 weeks. I can't wait.

Man the flares on the Power Wagon are not good. They do not actually attach to the fender surface. But just rest against it with a rubber seal. Over time this will eat right through the paint. I am very suprised Dodge actually is using flares like this....
