General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

Oh, c'mon man! Show us the engine. The ENGINE! That's where the action is. Oh...really nice rig. Curious why you decided to run smallish tires for this setup? 38s and 40s easily fit under an M37 stock.

Truckerdee, Tires were free! I am welding up the holes on the military rims and redrilling the 8 lug pattern. This will give a totally origional look, but time to spend on toys is less when it is cold out.

Looks great! Is that a 4BTA, aftercooled? What is the engine out of? Also wondering if that's an H1C turbo. I know it's a challenging job. I just finished a 4BT conversion on my own '67 Dodge truck.

6Bt from a 1989 Dodge with a 5spd. 2 of the cylinders are in the cab with a dog house. 60K miles and used all the drive train, and suspension. There was a project write up in Power Wagon Advertiser magazine back in March.

No project is complete till you sell it. There is always something to do. Now I am doing a Mercedes 300 turbo diesel in a jeep wrangler.

I saw one of those for sale a few years back, sorry I didn't buy it. Would be a fun project. I've got a 1977 1 ton utility bed, i think it needs a diesel instead off the 360.
