little cars!

I'm working on a 96 Neon, and a while back I told the wife after I get a bigger turbo for the truck, I'm bolting our HY on to the neon. Guess it wasnt a bad idea after all!!

I didn't think a little 2.0l could spin it enough to generate 20 psi, and then how are they holding 20 psi in a gas engine in a neon, maybe they are fire ringing neons....

As much as i am not into the domestic/import car tuning world , at least those guys put more thought/design/engineering into turning their cars than bolting on a "muffler" that amplifies noise levels.

The neons are holding 20+ psi. Of course the engines are built for it. Mine is staying stock as I am gonna start playing with the MegaSquirt, then go forced induction. Later after I get better tuning my own, I plan on EFIing our Challenger.

www.turboford.org there are MANY guys there that have 2.3L motors with HX and HY35's ..... one guy Randy in Indiana had an RX7 he converted to the 2.3 turbo motor.... he made 422 HP and 440 tq at the wheels....... went 6.95@100 in the 1/8 and 10.88@125.6 the car dosen't exist anymore cause on his first nitrous pass he blew a head gasket and oiled his rear tires and tried to take out a guard rail...... IIRC

here's the link to more info on the car.... vids, dyno sheets, and pics....
