I havent been able to play with any boxed 6.0l's, but the one i ran was a stock automatic 4x4 dually with no bed, ext. cab, and i had to let out of it in 3rd gear(this was before the GSk,a nd turbo housing) to keep from pushing him along. I can take a stock one, auto or 6 speed, but with a box/chip, i doubt it. I can outrun a stock D-Max better than i can the 6.0l. The only chipped D-Max ive ran into was a 6 speed, and i busted him till about 45-50mph, then he passed me.lol But he had 2 boxes, and a 5 inch exhaust, and who knows what else. Im not complaining with my truck. It will out run a lot of things out of the factory now, and hopefully when i get the tranny done, I will get Delivery valves, and maybe hybrid my turbo, and have a real contender on the street.

Well its like this

I have taken pride and have beat the 6.0's and a few duramaxes, BUT i know who to pick on and what not.. mosta the time.. They may have me in HP but in durability, TQ, proven reliability, and MOST OF ALL in payments I OWN THEM ALL!!!! Their payments 800 plus a month mine ZERO!! Id say im the winner here overall

You have never gotten past 4K in a gasser? Are u joking with us or are u serious? My moms 02 expition with 5.4 with programer..leaving it in drive it would shift out at 5800rpm..out of 6000 but also do a scratch into 2

I can take **** near any car to 40mph, but after that they're gone (**** slipping tc), if it's a roll-on at 35/40 i can keep the tc locked up in 2nd and 3rd and keep up with stock ls-1's. Almost have enough for a DTT tranny, LOOK OUT!

I dont know how fast an LS1 is, but John did have in his sig posted where he could run like a 14.3 1/4 mile i think(real close to that time anyway). Thats pretty darn fast for a big truck. Unless he took off the Downloader, and my guess is, that he didnt if he can slip his tranny still.

my truck wouldn't make a very good showing at the strip... laggy turbo, manual tranny, open diff = pig off the line and once the boost hits, traction isn't really available till 4th gear. I would imagine it would be even worse at the track where street tires generally hook worse than they do on the street

but it's pretty fun on the highway though

needs twins!!
