Ok to run 245's in rear and 265's in front?

I'm going to haul an in-bed camper and I'd like to replace the rear tires since they're not in great shape. The front tires are still ok. All the tires on the truck are currently 265/75/16 load range D. I've got 4 new 245/75/16 tires load range E tires at my house. I'd like to fix the death wobble and get the front-end aligned before I put the new tires in the front, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to it in time. Do you guys see any problem in running 245's in the back and 265's in the front? I think they're about the same diameter.

if you use the 4x4 you will probably bust the t-case, if you absolutely have to have the tires put on, get two 245's and have them put on the front. used or new dosent matter.

You'll want to get the front end aligned with the new tires. You can run the 245's, but as LOGAN said: Don't use 4wd!

Thanks for the input. I won't be using 4wd. So I guess it should be ok then huh? Either way, I'm going to try to get the front end fixed asap. I'd just hate to put on a new pair of tires in the front and then chew them up because of poor alignment and death wobble.

Absolutely no problem running different sizes on the rear than on the front. Just don't run 4WD unless you are on a slippery surface. If you get stuck you can use 4WD with no problems to get out. Then go back to 2WD. It won't break it but it will strain it on dry pavement and cause heavy tire wear.
