OK here is the idea, we are looking to use a L2 mitsubishi diesel in a project vehical. Its rated at 13 hp at 3600 its 635 cc's the idea is to put a small turbo and run maybe 2-6 psi of boost.

I am working on trying to find a turbo that will work for this project and be able to start makeing boost around 1200-1500 and hold it till redline.

So the 2 questions are anyone ever played with this motor and know anything about it? and anyone have a idea of a turbo that would work for this situation.

What are you trying to accomplish? I believe these have an alluminium head.

 

We are trying to use a small efficent motor this one falls in that area and give it just a little more umph when its needed. Most the time it will run in its own power range just once in awhile it might need to run a little harder. Hate to buy the bigger engine that is less efficent for those few times it might need the 20 hp.
