Oil Sample Results - What do these bizzare numbers mean?
Well, I finally got my oil sample results back from Oil Analyzers Inc. today and I dont really know what to look for.
The "Oil Severity Report" has my sample in the "green" or "NORMAL" area. Its a 1 on a scale from 0-4. 2 is abnormal 3-4 are CRITICAL.
In the comment box it says "Chrome is at a MINOR LEVEL" and in the chart below Chromium is "6" and highlighted green.
What does this mean?
What other numbers should I be looking for?
Whats good?
Whats bad?
Whats normal?
Also, On the form I submitted I listed the sample as coming from a 5.9L Cummins 6BT and on the sample sheet I got back it says its from a CHRYSLER 5.7L...can that effect the test results?

Try Blackstone Labs - easy to understand results.
~
But - - go to the (your) source!
If you don't (or can't) understand the results from the outfit you
used - call 'em & ask questions!
If they don't (or won't) help you out on the phone -
you need a different outfit.

I would call them to make sure they know you have a diesel engine and not a HEMI as it will affect the report if its based on the wrong engine. What did the Analysis Recommendations have to say anything? With out seeing the whole report or you list all of the numbers from the report for us to read it will be very hard helping you with this.
