Oh Boy................
Been lurking around here and reading for a while, trying to talk myself into doing it...
They'll be delivering it to me at work tomorrow
06 2500 QC 4x4 Thunderroad Edition!!!!!!!!!!
Oh man I'll bet I dont sleep a wink tonight!!
(either from the excitement of my new truck, or the worry over my LARGE new payment)
Can't wait to get it...It will be a while before I start to trick it out, but it wont be long...
Now that I'm in the club, what advice do you guys have for me??

I agree. First fill out your Sig so everyone knows what you drive. Takes pictures. GET Gauges. Fun watching what the truck actually does (Pyro, Boost are mostly needed).
Congrads on the truck and welcome.

K guys...Here's the skinny on my new '06
Of course the front end has changed...
The interior has a new dash, stereo design, and slight changes to the door panels...
The radio has an aux plug to attach ipod or something similar..
The fold flat floor under the back seat is now made of plastic, with a cloth top...I think I would have liked metal better, but the plastic I am sure will be less noisy...
The exhaust is 4 inch turbo-back straight from the factory...At work we have an '05 dually, and it has 3 inch...From the brochures, 4 inch is now standard on '06...It sounds great even with factory muffler...Has a deep bass tone and a good rumble...
The new keyless entry is pretty cool..Its built on the key...Makes the keys kinda bulky...but now there's no fob...
It's black with alot of chrome....I definitely need some steps and mudflaps....Thinking I'll use treadplate for the bedrails and mudflaps....
Thats the biggest changes I have seen so far...I've only had it now for a couple of hours....If you guys have questions feel free to ask...I'll check mine out and see

Thunder Road, Big Horn and Lonestar are a package that includes added options .....Its above SLT (slt package with added features) but not as fancy as the Laramie....no leather, etc....
The three packages are the same, they are just named differently for different regions...
Thunder Road for the East coast, Lonestar is sold in TX, and Big Horn is sold everywhere else
No pics yet...Had a storm blow in earlier, and now it's dark out....

I have a 2004.5 which has a full 4" exhaust from the Turbo back to the rear bumper. The early 2004 had 3 1/2 Down pipe then 4" back if I remember correctly. Every 04.5 had full 4" .
Correct me if I am wrong please.
