Thumbs up November Truck Of the Month WINNER!

CONGRATULATIONS to getblown5.9
for being chosen as the
Truck Of the Month
for November 2006.

All three were great looking rigs,,, so congrats to the Runner-ups for being nominated.

There will be a Poll posted on the 15th of the month showing three thumbnail pics of the chosen trucks. By clicking on the thumbnail,,, you will see a larger picture of the truck. The owner's name will also be a link to their Profile Page where you can see the Truck Mods they have listed and also the link to their Gallery.

*NOTE* Now would be a good time to go into your profiles and make sure you have your Truck Mods listed. You can do this by clicking at the top of the page and then Edit Profile to put your info in. Nominees are chosen by the TOM committee based on category for that month and forum participation.

The winner of the poll will be posted as the Truck of the Month in the General Diesel section on the 1st of the following month, at which time we will send a PM/email notifying them and asking for their info so they can receive their plaque from Keith Livingstone of Forest City Diesel (our TOM sponsor, and the creator & supplier of those beautiful plaques). Big THANKS to Keith

Congrats on the win GB! Your truck has come a good way since you got it, looks good, and it is super cool that you are building it yourself, and not letting some shop tell you what you want!

Have good pics of your truck in the gallery, there is a comittee that selects the nominees every month, which can't be an easy job, because there are so many great trucks on here, in so may different configurations, and uses. Rick's truck is my personal favorite, but you may have another, as I'm sure everyone else on here does...

They were all nice, I meant to throw that in there. With the crop to pick from, even a nomination is an accomplishment.

thanks guys...it was nice to just get picked out of like 27,000 members. alot of work and time (way too much $$$) into all these trucks. the runners up have great trucks too. a SWEET 12v and a 24v with twins...i want all 3!

im just a youngster learning as i go, so its nice to get a little recognition. maybe even one day ill make a magazine appearance. I WISH!

displacedtexan- I'm 21 and the only thing on this truck that i didn't do on my own was rebuild the nv5600 when i broke 6th gear, and the machine work to o-ring the head.

It's fairly easy to make it into a magazine, just be able to bs about their magazine and you can make it into the feedback section. I don't know how to do it for being featured.

I'm 24, and at the moment I'm taking a break from building me a little shop (14'x20') that I will use to rebuild my NV4500 in a few months, then I get an OFE
