dang 5 1/2 cylinders, is that one of the multidisplacement engines? you know, that thing have a hemi in it? the next guy that asks that, I'm gonna make suck on my exhaust tip. even the back window(in 6" white letters) says GOT DIESEL?. what a bunch of dummies.
maybe I'll convert my truck to steam when they come a repo my cummings out of it. or maybe a gas turbine. you know that would be cool.

So then I presume that everyone has heard that the "mystery" manufacturer that Cummins will be supplying engines for is Nissan right. Light & Medium Duty Truck magazine reported it in this months issue that a source close to the agreement named Nissan as the partner that was unnamed by Cummins several months ago. The Titan will be receive a V8 Cummins and the smaller Frontier and possibly the Armarda will get smaller displacement 6 cylinder diesels.
A Cummins in a Nissan? Aw Man.

Evidently you missed the memo, the 6.0L is the new V8 Cummins that Ford has been going to put in their trucks for years now. They just re-badgged it so us Dodge guys with Cummins wouldn't know the "real truth"

Actually, a reputable authority in the automotive field told me the following:
(1) Cummins recently acquired a majority share in Ford.
(2) Nissan recently acquired a majority share in Cummins.
(3) Daimler Chrysler recently acquired a majority share in Nissan, and is preparing to buy the company out.
(4) So... DC owns Ford.
(5) Cummins is developing a rotary diesel in partnership with Mercedes.
(6) The Cummins/Mercedes 5.3 rotary diesel will be marketed first in full-sized Nissan pickup trucks in 2008.
(7) The same Nissan pickup trucks will be rebadged with Dodge nameplates and given a different front grill - and sold by Dodge dealers in 2008. Robert Bosch Co. has been asked to develop a new rotary injection pump for the new rotary diesel engine... the VP-SUX
(8) The Cummins 5.9L ISB engine will be marketed in full-sized Ford pickup trucks in 2008.
(9) In 2008, Ford pickup trucks will be rebadged Dodge pickup trucks with a different front grill.
(10) Unsold Ford pickup trucks with the Navistar 6.0 engine will be warehoused by the United States government for future disaster relief efforts.
(11) Dr. Z drives a Duramax.
Who is my source? Well, I asked Dr. Z, of course.
