no more cummins for dodge
ok a buddy on mines dad works at a dodge dealership and he keeps telling me that in 08 dodge wont have the cummins it it no more. He says that it will be replaced with a mercades diesel or something of the sort. I tell him that if that was true then why would they design a whole new motor for 07 dodge platforms if they were just going to trash it the next year

For the record...if you are going to start yet another roumor about this (it seems to happen monthly, if not more...), at least try to sound confident.
What this means: you (not a second, third, or fifth party) have obtained verifiable, well - sourced documetation on details that lead one to beleive that some sort of change could actually take place. There's a reason that, in school, you were asked to quote sources. Since this seems to be lost in this instance, let me give an example: A word to learn is "Verifiable"...
Main Entry: ver·i·fi·able
Pronunciation: "ver-&-'fI-&-b&l
Function: adjective
: capable of being verified
- ver·i·fi·abil·i·ty /"ver-&-"fI-&-'bi-l&-tE/ noun
- ver·i·fi·able·ness noun
And this comes from www.m-w.com
AKA: the Merriam-Webster Online dictionary.

Although, if you're interested in quotations, anything indicating that the Cummins will be present in 2008 Dodges would be much better information than the definition of "verifiable".
Chadwick here's just the unfortunate product of naivety...

If anything , you will see Cummins V-6 and V-8 in other Dodge products by 2010 and that isnt that far away. Mercedes doesnt have anything clean enough for all 50 states.

Mercedes has the Bluetec. I can't see it going into a lot of th Dodge products for a few years at least, because I believe it is a pretty expensive engine.

I don't know if your post was meant to be sarcastic or what. Have you ever asked a question somebody else may have thought "stupid"?

Next we will be hearing that in 2008 or 2010 DC will be dropping their truck lines to focus on better fuel economy and greener vehicles.... Maybe we should start that rumor about Frod.... Mr. Ford is concerned about the environment so much and seeing the impact that his company can have on it has decided to drop all of their large truck lines inorder to focus on their high fuel mileage cars..... Yeah thats it... And I heard that from a friends golf partners buddy that cleans Mr. Fords Laundry!!!
I think he is the same guy spreading rumors about Ford owning Cummins!
