New Nitto Dura Grapplers!!!!

I just got off the phone with Nitto, I was able to speak with a representative and ask some questions. I was not able to find any info on their website, although they have added the dura grappler to the site just no tech. info yet.
The person I spoke with said the tire is scheduled to be released sometime in Sept. or Oct. this year (probably later than sooner) and will be available in several sizes (not sure what the other ones will be) the only one I was interested in was the 285/70/17. This will be the largest available size, but will be rated Load Range E. I asked what the price would be, but no price will be set until the release. I cant wait to see this tire installed on a set of wheels on a Dodge pickup, I guess only time will tell how "dura" they are.

Interesting looking tire. May have to add them to the list of tires at replacement time.

Have them and like them! More miles will tell more as far as how long they will last. Look to be wearing nice so far. have to double check the receipt as far as how many miles on them but I am guessing around 12,000. they have worn about 4/32 compared to new.

dura grapplers are the HWY terrrain tires...do they yield nice highway performance, not too loud and good mpg gains?

Didn't make any MPG gains for me, they are about as quiet as the Coopers I had before, and they ride comparable. I can't say as I will pay the premium price again for these, but if the price comes down, I wouldn't be against buying them again. I'd have to say I am satisfied. Not overly impressed or discouraged, but just satisfied.
