Well Rick, I am sorry to hear about your leather. Oh, and that was more than just a tail wag, as your nose WAS in the other lane as well . Could say all in all it was like you were 45* from sideways

That is exactly why I want to talk to BPC.

I've never been able to hook the rear of this truck up

I tow daily and spin the rears with my 6k trailer hooked up

I use the full weight rating plus some also.

I'm looking for options that will hook me up and keep my weight rating.

BPC can you help me out?

Too bad Hoss' concrete bedliner weighs 1300#, was going to recommend that but you are concerned with weight .

Why dont you just send our new buddy BPC a PM? Maybe that would get you two in contact better than on here, seeming as all you are getting is flak from me .

Rick, clarify the "hook up" issue are we talking John Force burn outs or what? Lots of variables here... bcauthro@wmcdirect.com if it's easier.

No John Force burn outs!

Tis true that I'd rather be 4x4 drifting even on dry pavement.

Tis also true that when it gets really twisty at high speed I hold my own better than most. Hence my lack of lift and reasonable tire size 285 70 R 17's BFG All Terrains

I do have Rancho 9000's and I'm going to stiffen the front settings to try and improve weight transfer. Maybe a set of stiffer front springs without lift? The rears have to stay the same as I do tow daily.

I realize that this truck will never handle like a Nascar but if I could tighten it up quite a bit without altering the tow and load capacity I'd really be a happy camper!

Any rear susp modifications at all? Air bags, helper springs, Timbrens, different shocks? Add on rear anti-roll bar? When you tow is it strictly ball mount? Or a weight distribution type hitch?

Turn the qud box down, drop the rear tires to 45psi - send me a check for $75 (my hourly labor rate)

No rear suspension modifications except RS 9000 adjustable shocks now.

Quad box is only for playing

You can have the $75.00 when you can beat me through the twisties!! That's just not going to happen

Not a straight line race, requires handeling and driver skill unlike SoCal freeways!

Much like the autocross events that you see all to seldom on the tube.

Fire roads and the like are just the ticket!!

Twisties? Wanna make it double or nothin ever heard of NASA (National Autosport Spor Association) Tested lots of suspension set ups at their track events. Buttonwillow, California Speedway, Willow Springs... That was the funnest part of working at Eibach - hot lapping all the cars.
